The Honor Roll Ceremony was hosted by the Languages Institute last Tuesday, may 8^th in the Yquinde auditorium. This event was a space to honor 40 students from our university and their excellent work and progress in learning English.It was a pleasure and a big honor to have Carlos Alberto Ortega Balanta as the Valedictorian 2017-3, who was chosen for completing the fifth English level and received three Honor Roll Awards in a row.

We would like to give a special thanks to ‘Son Sensación’, the representative Salsa Cabaret group of the Autónoma de Occidente University for performing their salsa dances during the ceremony and showing contribution to the continuity of salsa culture in Cali.

Congratulations to all the honored students who take seriously the learning process of a new language and thanks to all the Directors and the Languages Institute teachers who accompanied us during the ceremony.
