The Honor Roll Ceremony was hosted by the Languages Institute last Tuesday, Oct 16th in the Yquinde auditorium. This event was a space to honor 35 students from our university and their excellent work and progress in learning English.
It was a pleasure and a big honor to have Miguel Fernando Saavedra from UAOTEC cerrito branch, as the Valedictorian 2018-3, who was chosen for completing the fifth English level and received three Honor Roll Awards in a row.
We would like to give a special thanks to The theater group and professor Nestor Duran, from the Autónoma de Occidente University for performing the play “you never know” an excellent presentation 100% in English during the ceremony and showing contribution to the theater culture in Cali.
Congratulations to all the honored students who take seriously the learning process of a new language and thanks to all the Directors and the Languages Institute teachers who accompanied us during the ceremony.
